Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club participated in the activities of Martyr's Day, in response to the invitation of the wise leadership in the UAE to revive such national occasion on November 30 of each year, while adhering to precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the participants’ health and safety.
His Excellency Jumah Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, said that Martyr's Day is a national occasion in which we remember the generosity and sacrifices of our righteous martyrs, who gave their precious lives for the sake of the country.
Mohammed Rashid Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, confirmed that the club used to participate in all national events, pointing out that such national events are a great opportunity to instill the values of patriotism in the hearts of young people.
The Vice Chairman continued that the club is about to hold several events on Martyr's Day, to commemorate the memory of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect our beloved nation.
For his part, Ammar Ali Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the Club, affirmed the club's keenness to participate in all national events in the country, stressing the importance of holding such celebrations that express the love of the UAE.
