Sharjah24: In coinciding with the International Mountain Day, Sharjah Sport Council (SSC) will launch the second edition of Khorfakkan Mountain Challenge on 11 December, at Al Rabi tower path, in cooperation with Al Qudra Sports Management LLC and with the strategic partner of Sharjah Women's Sports, Khorfakkan Cultural and Sport Club and Al Shaab Village.
This challenge comes as part of SSC’s plans to spread sporting and community events in the various cities of the emirate of Sharjah with adhering strict precautionary and preventive measures. SSC announced that the registration for Khorfakkan Mountain Challenge is opened via electronic link www.eevents.ae/kmc until 10 of December.
Commenting on that, Yaser Omar Al Doki, Director of Sports and Community Events Department, pointed out that Khorfakkan Mountain Challenge comes this year in coinciding with the International Mountain Day, in which it attains the objectives of the Sharjah Sports Council to raising awareness about the importance of mountains and nature in life, as well as to enriching sports tourism through organising such challenges in the city of Khorfakkan.
