SSC, DSCD sign a strategic partnership to provide information

The signing of the agreement was attended by Sheikh Mohamed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of DSCD, and His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Humaid Al Qasimi stressed that the signing of the agreement of understanding comes from the importance of consolidating strategic partnerships to unify efforts in building an integrated statistical system in the Emirate of Sharjah that includes all sectors and fields, and to create a database for sports statistics through which high-quality outputs can be obtained and made available to decision-makers and officials.

His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami indicated that the signing of this agreement comes as a translation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, and it is also part of council plans to communicate and integrate with various government institutions and departments in the emirate and to strengthen efforts in the renaissance and progress of the smile emirate in various fields.

He added: The memorandum aims to achieve the strategic goals of the two sides and to apply institutional partnership in social responsibility through cooperation and complementarity of roles, each according to his specialisation, exchange of experiences and information, preparation of studies and statistical research with a common relationship, and the use of material and human resources to serve the public interests.
