Sharjah 24: Students of the College of Communication in Al Qasimia University actively participated in the the Youth Talk Programme for Cultural Dialogue and Exchange between UAE universities. Students were invited to express their opinion and on a number of vital topics related to arts and creativity, within the panel discussions organised by the Youth Talk Programme for Exchange and Cultural Dialogue between universities.
The College of Communication students presented a number of viewpoints that were praised by the Louvre Abu Dhabi Educational Resources Department, which organised the panel discussion in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Education.
The students valuable discussion contributed to the consolidation of the goals of organising panel discussion in exchanging knowledge, serving arts, and enhancing the role of museums for students and universities faculty members, inside and outside the country.
The college of communication students students of the University of Science and Technology (Fujairah) tackled a number of important topics that was held via Zoom, most notably the relationship of arts and the daily life of the university students; the importance of local and international museums, their future vision keeping up with the world and its attractiveness to young people; in addition to use the humanitarian crises and adapting them to develop the creative and innovative skills of university students.
The student interventions were integrated to achieve the objectives of the panel discussion, aiming to consolidate the role of arts in the minds of students and their daily lives in times of crisis; develop their creative and innovative skills in light of the COVID-19; enhance cultural exchange and enrich experiences between cultures.
At the conclusion of the panel discussion, the Louvre Abu Dhabi praised the outstanding performance and the high level of discussion and dialogue among the students of Al Qasimia University. Thanks were extended to the administration of Al Qasimia University, the Dean of the College of Communication, and the faculty members of the College of Communication for their active participation in this session.
