Sharjah24: As part of its social responsibility and within the framework of its annual initiatives, Dibba Al Hisn Municipality launched the "Birds Watering" initiative, which it is implementing in cooperation with the Dibba Al Hisn Council, and Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Station, for the seventh consecutive year, which aims to provide "100 A package intended for watering birds in all areas in the city.
This initiative comes as an extension of the approach to preserving the environment, protecting its elements for the continuation of natural life, and reducing the death of birds as a result of high temperatures during the summer, where the municipality is keen to distribute plastic containers annually, which are characterised by “easy installation, light weight and smooth drinking of birds from them and remain throughout the year, Where it is permanently refilled to achieve its goals in preserving birds."
During the previous years, the municipality worked to distribute watering to the residents to involve them in this humanitarian work, but due to the current conditions of the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic and in order to preserve the health and safety of the city's residents, the municipality distributed water throughout Dibba Al Hisn.
His Excellency Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn City Municipality, said that the municipality is interested in organising this initiative during the summer days of each year, which is one of the events it organises within its social responsibility and its duty to preserve the environment.
