Sharjah24: As part of its charitable initiative launched at the beginning of this year, Al Khalidiya Suburb Council (AKSC) received a number of wells that were built in the villages where it is drained.
Sharjah Charity International dug water wells as a running charity for mothers from the Al Khalidiya suburb, after the suburb launched the initiative in honour of the deceased mothers, offering them hope for forgiveness and mercy, and providing water for needy villages.

The initiative succeeded in constructing a number of wells and handing them over to Al Khalidiya Suburb Council the day before yesterday in achieving its charitable goals, which coincided with the council’s vision and its keenness to fulfill the role of the mother and give back to the deceased by participating in digging water wells for poor villages in a number of East Asian countries as an ongoing charity that gives their souls a request.

His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya Council, stated that the Suburb Council received from the Sharjah Charitable International, which took over the drilling of wells through its offices outside the country, a number of wells, which it called (the well of deceased mothers) as an expression of the status of mothers and the role they played in building the family.
