Sharjah24: Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Head of the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW), announced that the department has completed the construction project of the Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD) in Al Rahmaniyah Suburb, which was completed within the framework of the department’s projects that seek to provide the best services and deliver them to the beneficiaries and save time and effort for the auditors.
In detail, Engineer Alya Al Rand, Director of Building Projects Department in the department, explained that the building area is 2,745 square meters, and the building was designed according to the Islamic architectural style similar to the designs of government buildings in the Emirate of Sharjah while preserving the heritage character, and using modern building elements, components and friendly systems Environmental and energy-saving.

The building consists of one floor containing senior management offices, meeting rooms, a training hall, offices of the various departments of the department, a call center, a cafe and multi-purpose rooms (the evening hall and the light hall).

Engineer Hadef Al-Khidr, Deputy Head of the Supervision Department in the department, indicated that the new building is a new addition, and it comes within the process of construction and development, as it was designed according to the highest standards of building arts and engineering, in a manner that took into consideration in its design and construction the importance of its harmony with the local environmental environment and with an architectural character. It combines modernity with originality and makes it a distinctive architectural masterpiece.

The building was built on a large land estimated at 18,263 square meters, while the area of the service building is 300 square meters, with electricity, water, transformers and guard rooms. The building was also provided with 3 gates, two gates to the building and one external gate.

The green areas are 3,700 square meters, while the number of car parks is 79, in addition to 11,000 square meters of tiles that were used in the project, and the building is surrounded by a decorative fence extending 600 meters in length.

The department also carried out all the work of connecting services such as electricity, water and sewage, and furnishing the building with decorative office furniture, in addition to the work of information technology and civil defense.
