Sharjah24: Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qasir, Director of Cultural Affairs in the Department of Culture (DoC), Secretary-General of the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity (SAAC) - First Edition, announced the names of the winners of the Award’s 25th edition, reaching 18 winners from various Arab countries, in the award’s six literary different fields.
This came during a press conference held at the Department's headquarters this morning, Wednesday, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Culture, the award holders, and a number of media professionals and journalists.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qasir said that the award has enjoyed, since its inception, the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, lauding his keenness to support the young Arab literary figures.
Al Qasir has highlighted the significance of the Award in enriching the cultural creativity in the world’s different countries.
He also added that the total number of participants in the Award for this session reached to (417) participants from various Arab countries such as Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Libya, Mauritania, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, and other countries.
The Director of Cultural Affairs in the Department of Culture (DoC) announced the winning of 18 contestants in the 25th edition, congratulating all the winners for their remarkable achievements.
