Sharjah24: The College of Economics and Management at Al Qasimia University (AQU) sheds light on the elements that the United Arab Emirates enjoys, as part of its vision to enhance the growing investment environment, with continuing upgrading its efforts and successive successes in the development of investments abroad.
This came during the organisation of a lecture hosted by His Excellency Mr. Jamal Saif Al-Jarwan, Secretary-General of the UAE Investors Council Abroad, to highlight the leadership’s keenness to develop a supportive and attractive investment environment for local and foreign investors.
The lecture was attended by Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University, His Excellency Salem Al-Jarwan, Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs, deans of faculties, members of the academic and administrative entities, and a large number of students who led an open discussion on the UAE economy.
At the beginning of the lecture, His Excellency Mr. Jamal Saif Al-Jarwan gave an introductory overview of the UAE Investors Council and its roles, reviewing the vision of the country in its various economic sectors in promoting its economic position as a business-friendly environment and providing the possible environment for the development of investments.
The Secretary-General of the UAE Investors Council Abroad has lauded the successes achieved by the state with the support of the wise leadership over the past 50 years, contributing in ensuring the fastest growing economy in the world.
He stated that despite the successes achieved, the wise state leadership spares no effort in attracting foreign investments, developing local human capital, and enhancing the role of financial policies in directing the overall economy, in order to achieve the country’s strategic development goals.
At the end of the lecture, Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University, accompanied by Professor Mohamed Alshami. Dean of College of Economics and Management at Al Qasimia University, honoured His Excellency Jamal Al Jarwan by awarding him the Al Qasimia University Shield in appreciation of his distinguished efforts as one of the most prominent business leaders in the UAE in the field of communications, international investments and trade.
