Sharjah24: The Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (SDSVA) organised a ceremony to honour the participating entities in the 10th Suburbs Festival, at the headquarters of the International Organisations Center Theater in the Sharjah Heritage Institute building.
The Suburbs Festival witnessed remarkable success in its tenth year within the framework of its programs implemented in the city of Sharjah in Al Qarayen Park 5. 

The ceremony was attended by Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Head of the District and Villages Affairs Department, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the District and Villages Affairs Department, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Dr. Khaled Al Midfa, President of Sharjah Media City (Shams) and Muhammad Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Police. Sharjah Radio and Television, Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of Sharjah Government Media Bureau , and Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative Society, in addition to the presence of a number of heads and members of suburban councils, representatives of government agencies, officials, honorees, media and voluntary bodies.

Khamis Al-Suwaidi, Head of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the organizing committee of the festival and the cooperation of government institutions, the private sector and the media in supporting the Suburbs Festival, which was held for the tenth year in a row, where the festival witnessed remarkable success.

Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi honored the 34 participating parties for their great role in succeeding the 10 Suburbs Festival.
