This came as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the department and the Arab Administrative Development Organisation of the Arab League, to cooperate in organising workshops and training courses.
Waleed Al Sayegh, General Director of SFD, stressed the importance of such training forums to enhance the Arab government financial work system, adding that the department has gained a lot of experience in financial management, and looks forward to sharing its experience with similar departments in neighbouring countries.
The trainees were briefed on the role of the SFD in financial management and achieving goals, in addition to adopting new procedures in dealing with challenges in financial affairs regarding the Coronavirus pandemic.
Nasser Kashwani, the SFD’s Financial Expert, indicated that the participants in the training forum were briefed on numerous challenges that they expect to face in this line of work, and how to solve them based on the SFD’s experience.
The participants in the forum expressed their happiness with the programme. They stressed that such initiatives contribute to the development of Arab financial administrations and enhance their contribution to financial management.
