Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) participated in the activities of the seventh edition of the Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival, organised by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) over a period of 3 days from the 5 to 7 August, at the Emirates Hospitality Centre in Ajman.
The SIH’s participation varied into purposeful and attractive programmes and activities, which was well received by the festival's visitors, who expressed their appreciation for the SIH's role and efforts in protecting, preserving, and sustaining heritage.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), stated that SIH is pleased to participate in the activities of the Ajman Liwa Dates and Honey Festival in its seventh edition, as it aims to enhance the country’s position as an important destination on the local heritage tourism map.
The Ajman Liwa Dates and Honey Festival was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, with the participation of more than 400 exhibitors.
