Sharjah 24: Mohammed Abdullah Ishakoh, Head of the Activities and Events Committee at Al Maleh and Fishing Festival, revealed that the ninth edition of the festival offers visitors a distinctive combination of activities, amid the wide participation of government departments and families.
The Head of the Activities and Events Committee at Al Maleh and Fishing Festival confirmed that the ninth edition of the festival is full of a rich and distinguished combination of activities that continue until September 11.
He added, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that the wide participation of government bodies and institutions, and families, reflects the value of the festival and its importance on the economic, social and heritage levels of the city of Dibba Al Hisn.
He pointed out that the festival offers its visitors multiple opportunities to purchase many types of Al Maleh, provides several educational workshops on the manufacture of Al Maleh and its derivatives, and introduces marine heritage to the public.
He praised the remarkable support given by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the festival, which is held in cooperation with the Municipal Council and the Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, and its activities will continue for 4 consecutive days from 9 am to 9 pm.
