Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has obtained the ISO 56002:2019 certificate in innovation management system after successfully passing the audit stages following the requirements of the innovation system specification.
Aisha Hussein Abdullah, Director of the Strategy and Institutional Development Department at SEWA, confirmed that applying modern innovation management systems contributes to enhancing the culture of innovation at the individual and institutional levels. In addition, it leads to the modernization and development of work mechanisms by employing innovation policies and technology and enabling them to carry out their work in non-traditional ways.
She added that the authority's strategy includes reviewing and evaluating the methodologies and process of the innovation management system regularly through indicators that reflect performance and achievement of goals.
