The event saw the participation of more than 25 teams from 18 local and international universities, focusing on the importance of food security in achieving societal sustainability.
Dr Ahmed Murad Al Raisi noted that the 4th edition of the “University Challenge” is exceptional in terms of local and international participation, with 25 teams representing 18 universities, including six international institutions. This highlights the significance of the event at the regional level.
The UAE University Chancellor added that the challenge aims to enhance students’ skills by connecting academic learning with a core practical topic: food security and its relationship to quality of life.
Dr Ahmed Murad Al Raisi told “Sharjah 24” that the 4th edition of the “University Challenge” concentrated on the importance of food security in achieving societal sustainability and its linkage to government communication tools.
Al Raisi expressed his pride in the partnership between UAE University and the International Government Communication Forum, which contributes to serving university students, honing their skills, fostering a spirit of competition, and encouraging the development of innovative solutions.
The 4th edition of the “University Challenge” is being held as part of the 14th International Government Communication Forum, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau on 10–11 September under the theme “Communication for Quality of Life.”
