Dancing lights dazzle young audiences at SIBF 2025

Sharjah 24: The Outdoor Theatre at the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) came alive as “Dancing Lights,” a four-member LED dance troupe, delivered a high-tempo performance that had children and parents cheering from the first beat.

Neon-lit spectacle

Dressed in glowing costumes of blue, green, red, pink, and yellow, the dancers moved in crisp synchronicity to hits from Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and the Black Eyed Peas, blending futuristic visuals with music to captivate the audience.

Dynamic choreography

The troupe’s choreography featured sharp, circular, and dynamic movements, with each dancer showcasing individual flair while maintaining perfect group coordination. LED-powered props transformed the stage into a kaleidoscope of colour.

Audience engagement

Children danced and cheered along, enjoying the interactive finale where performers descended into the audience, encouraging everyone to wave along and participate.

SIBF 2025 highlights

This year’s fair, the largest edition yet, features 2,350 publishers and exhibitors from 118 countries, over 1,200 activities and events, and welcomes more than 250 guests from 66 nations.
