Sharjah 24: Chairman Praises Outstanding Achievements and National Talent
Rashid Saeed bin Freish Al Kindi, Chairman of Kalba Sports and Cultural Club, expressed pride in the club’s remarkable performance at the Kalba Beach Games, where they secured 100 medals across various sports.

Volleyball and team sports shine

The young volleyball squad maintained its winning streak by claiming the championship cup. The beach football team also performed strongly, finishing second in the competition.

Success in individual sports

The club’s judo team excelled with seven medals: one gold, four silvers, and two bronzes. The taekwondo team earned 13 medals, including three golds, five silvers, and three bronzes.

Karate demonstrates strength and competitiveness

The karate team showcased exceptional skill, winning a total of 38 medals—15 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze—against clubs from across the country, many featuring international athletes.

Commitment to national talent development

Kalba Club distinguished itself by fielding the largest number of Emirati athletes, reaffirming its dedication to nurturing local talent and supporting national sports development.

Appreciation and future aspirations

Al Kindi highlighted the crucial role of the Sharjah Sports Council in the event’s success and praised the club’s technical and administrative staff. He emphasized the club’s goal to foster a unique cultural and sporting environment, aiming for both local and international success.
