UAE President attends AI session with ministers and officials

Sharjah 24: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a session focused on the UAE’s strategic vision for building an integrated artificial intelligence ecosystem. Discussions reaffirmed the country’s commitment to leveraging AI for societal benefit and strengthening its position as a global AI hub, while addressing the profound global transformations driven by the technology.

Opening remarks on the UAE’s AI vision

Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the leadership’s vision for AI and innovation. He also presented real-life examples demonstrating how AI is shaping daily routines and improving quality of life.

Participation of ministers and key officials

The session featured contributions from Sarah Al Amiri, Omar Sultan Al Olama, Mansoor Al Mansoori, Dr Mohamed Al Askar, Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Ahmed Yahia Al Idrissi, Peng Xiao, and other senior officials, reflecting the national importance of AI in all sectors.

Live demonstration of TAMM services

A live demonstration showed how the TAMM app integrates services from various government entities—such as vehicle renewal, insurance, and payments—and provides instant AI-powered support.

The discussion addressed efforts to empower students to use AI responsibly, enhance learning outcomes, and reinforce Emirati identity and values through education.
