SCC approves recommendations for the SDTPS

Sharjah 24: Rashid Abdullah bin Huwaiden, a member of the Sharjah Consultative Council, said the council discussed developing a unified system linking relevant government entities to the Department of Town Planning and Survey, accelerating digital transformation through artificial intelligence, and eliminating bureaucracy to ensure the accuracy and speed of transaction completion.

In an interview with “Sharjah 24,” bin Huwaiden mentioned that they have suggested creating a clear plan and timeline for naming streets and numbering homes and buildings across all areas of the emirate. The council also discussed the need for straightforward rules regarding compensation for landowners, which includes fair standards for dealing with inherited lands. They want to ensure that all parties’ rights are respected while considering how the land can be used commercially.

These recommendations aim to improve life for residents of the emirate and enhance how the Department of Town Planning and Survey operates.
