The workshop was delivered by Dr Mustafa Hassan, Professor and expert in strategic planning, who addressed the key uses of artificial intelligence and ways to employ it optimally to boost productivity and improve performance efficiency across various sporting, community and professional fields.
This initiative comes as part of Al Dhaid Club’s commitment to investing in the sporting individual, developing the capabilities of players, technical and administrative staff, and coaches, and empowering them with modern knowledge tools that contribute to enhancing both institutional and individual performance, thereby strengthening the club’s competitiveness and serving the sports sector and the community alike.
The workshop witnessed notable attendance from the club’s players and staff, alongside members of the community and female university students, who actively engaged with the workshop themes and practical discussions. These highlighted the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in supporting decision-making, enhancing training efficiency, and improving time and resource management.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Al Dhaid Club honoured Dr Mustafa Hassan in recognition of his academic efforts and valuable knowledge contribution. Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, extended his thanks and appreciation to Al Dhaid Public Library for its fruitful cooperation, affirming that the workshop forms part of the club’s programmes aimed at spreading knowledge awareness and keeping pace with modern technological developments, in a way that positively reflects on the sporting and community family.
For his part, Khalifa Mubarak Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Development Committee at Al Dhaid Club, explained that the workshop aims to promote a culture of innovation and shed light on the role of modern technologies in supporting productivity and sustainable development.
