The competition was held at the swimming pool of Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club as part of the Sharjah Sports Council’s plans to discover and nurture sporting talent and to raise the technical standards of clubs across the emirate.
A total of 207 swimmers from seven clubs took part in the championship. Participating clubs included Al Bataeh, Al Dhaid, Sharjah, Al Hamriyah, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Madam, and Mleiha, reflecting broad engagement and a strong competitive spirit among emerging swimmers.
The closing ceremony and medal presentations were attended by Omran Al Jasmi, Director of the Sports Affairs and Development Department at the Sharjah Sports Council; Jassim Al Dokhi, Head of the Individual Games Section; and Hassan Al Toumi, Swimming Specialist at the department. Officials praised the high standard of competition and the positive impact of such tournaments on developing young talent and strengthening the swimming base across the emirate.
