UAE President praises two decades of leadership

He highlighted that under Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s exceptional leadership, the UAE Government has become a model of development guided by ambitious, future-focused vision, placing people at the center of its priorities.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid reflects on achievements

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid affirmed that the UAE has transformed into a global hub under President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s leadership. He emphasized the government’s focus on quality of life, human empowerment, a robust economy, and exceptional efficiency. He said, “Twenty years may not be long in the life of a nation, but the UAE has given this period a significance as vast as its achievements.” He expressed gratitude to key ministers and leaders, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for their contributions.

They credited the UAE’s accomplishments over two decades to his strategic vision, innovative policies, and forward-thinking leadership, which turned ambitions into achievements.

Milestones of two decades in office

Since 2006, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has led 72 ministers through nine cabinet formations and 13 reshuffles, convening 558 cabinet meetings and issuing nearly 16,000 resolutions. He also chaired seven ministerial retreats and 16 extraordinary meetings, establishing strategic platforms to address national issues and craft solutions for the future.

UAE government transformation and global leadership

Over the past two decades, the UAE Government has become a global model of governance centered on innovation, foresight, and community wellbeing. The government has developed national leadership frameworks and excellence programs, implemented advanced performance monitoring systems, launched AI-powered legislative tools and unified digital platforms, modernized over 90% of the legal framework, strengthened international partnerships including the CEPA programme, and advanced government services by integrating artificial intelligence and streamlining service delivery.

Vision for the next two decades

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid expressed optimism for the future, stating, “The next two decades will bring prosperity, pride, and glory. The UAE will be the world’s top destination to live, work, invest, and visit. Our best years are yet to come.”
