Sharjah24-WAM: The Board of Trustees of Erth Zayed Philanthropies held its regular meeting, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs Families Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The meeting reviewed the Foundation’s key achievements in 2025 and discussed its strategic directions and priorities for 2026.

During the meeting, Sheikh Theyab emphasised the importance of continuing the UAE’s global mission to do good and promote giving across humanitarian, charitable and development fields. He noted that this approach reflects the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s enduring humanitarian legacy and aligns with the vision of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as the close follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

Effective implementation and global impact

The Board emphasised the need to ensure the effective implementation of initiatives, projects and programmes across all entities operating under Erth Zayed, with a focus on achieving measurable global impact, improving living conditions and meeting the needs of communities worldwide.

Family-centred approach and institutional efficiency

In line with the UAE’s declaration of 2026 as the “Year of the Family,” the meeting underscored the importance of placing families at the heart of humanitarian projects. The Board also emphasised strengthening governance, improving coordination among entities, and enhancing institutional efficiency to optimise resources and maximise humanitarian impact.
