AUS Alumni Reunion unites 900 graduates in celebration of impact

Held at the AUS Main Plaza under the patronage of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of American University of Sharjah, the reunion brought together alumni from across the UAE and beyond for an evening of reconnection and shared memories. Organised by the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, the event carried the theme Together We Rise and marked the 25th anniversary of AUS’ first graduating cohort.

Members of the Alumni Pioneers (Class of Fall 2000 and Spring 2001) were honoured with a ceremonial procession, a tribute video and a commemorative photograph with the AUS President.

New scholarship launched

A key highlight of the evening was the launch of the Graduate-Level Alumni Scholarship, which offers eligible alumni the opportunity to pursue a fully funded graduate degree at AUS. Two alumni were awarded the scholarships at the event, each valued at approximately AED 200,000.

Talks, networking and celebration

The programme featured inspirational talks and extensive networking opportunities, concluding with a live performance by Arab icon Diana Haddad, bringing the celebration to a vibrant close.
