The Youth UAE Cup, featuring 15 clubs, grants Al Wasl, last season’s league champion, a bye in the round of 16. Other fixtures include Al Nasr versus Al Wahda, Khorfakkan against Al Dhafra, Al Ain versus Al Dhaid, Al Jazira versus Al Bataeh, Shabab Al Ahli against Al Hamriya, Sharjah versus Al Madam, and Mleiha versus Kalba.
The UAE Basketball Federation emphasised that the cup draws help improve competitive standards and support the development of the sport across all age groups.
