Sharjah draws Al Dhafra, Al Nasr faces Al Wasl in Basketball Cup

Sharjah24: The UAE Basketball Federation held the draws today for the 2025-2026 season’s cup competitions for men, women, and youth at the UAE Olympic Committee headquarters. In the men’s UAE Cup, which features eight teams, Sharjah will face Al Dhafra, while Shabab Al Ahli meets Al Wahda. Meanwhile, Al Nasr will play Al Wasl, and Al Jazira will compete against Al Bataeh.

Women’s matches set

In the women’s competition, Sharjah Women’s Sports Club will face Al Dhaid Women’s Sports Club, and Khorfakkan Women’s Club will meet Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy.

Youth Cup fixtures

The Youth UAE Cup, featuring 15 clubs, grants Al Wasl, last season’s league champion, a bye in the round of 16. Other fixtures include Al Nasr versus Al Wahda, Khorfakkan against Al Dhafra, Al Ain versus Al Dhaid, Al Jazira versus Al Bataeh, Shabab Al Ahli against Al Hamriya, Sharjah versus Al Madam, and Mleiha versus Kalba.

The UAE Basketball Federation emphasised that the cup draws help improve competitive standards and support the development of the sport across all age groups.
