UAE and Slovenian Presidents discuss regional developments

Sharjah 24 – WAM: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Her Excellency Dr Nataša Pirc Musar, President of the Republic of Slovenia. During the call, she condemned the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, highlighting their violation of sovereignty, international law, and their threat to regional security and stability.

Slovenia expresses solidarity with the UAE

Her Excellency Dr Pirc Musar affirmed Slovenia’s support for the UAE’s measures to safeguard its security, stability, and territorial integrity. She commended the UAE’s effective management of the situation to ensure the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors.

Addressing regional escalation and global impact

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Her Excellency Dr Nataša Pirc Musar discussed the implications of the ongoing military escalation for regional and international peace and security, as well as its significant effects on the global economy. Both sides emphasized the importance of containing the escalation and prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy to resolve regional issues while preserving stability.

Strengthening bilateral cooperation

The call also reviewed cooperation between the UAE and Slovenia, exploring opportunities to further develop ties. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in support of the development goals of both nations and their peoples.
