Since the start of the blatant Iranian aggressions, UAE air defences have dealt with 357 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,815 UAVs.
These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of three members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, and the deaths of six civilians of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationality. A further 166 people were injured, with casualties ranging from minor to severe, from a wide range of nationalities including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, and Tunisian.
The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats, and will firmly confront any attempts to undermine State security in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, security and stability, and safeguards its national interests and capabilities.
