UAE President, US Senator Joni Ernst discuss regional developments

The meeting also discussed regional developments and their significant implications for peace and security at both regional and global levels, with both sides sharing their perspectives on these issues.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the US Senator also discussed the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including assaults on civilians and civilian infrastructure. Senator Ernst condemned these attacks, emphasising that they violate sovereignty, as well as international law and norms.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
