UAE and Ethiopia reaffirm commitment to regional stability

Talks focused on the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as wider regional developments and the UAE’s efforts to strengthen security and stability.

Both sides underlined the need to pursue political solutions to the crises facing the region and commended the role of UAE institutions in maintaining national security and protecting those living in the country.

The Ethiopian ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for the strength of relations between the two nations and for the UAE’s role in supporting peace and stability at both regional and international levels. He also reaffirmed Ethiopia's solidarity with the UAE in the face of any threats to its sovereignty, security, or territorial integrity.
