Kuwait intercepts two hostile missiles and 13 drones

Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Kuwaiti air defences successfully intercepted two cruise missiles and 13 hostile drones over the past 24 hours, with no casualties or material damage reported, the Ministry of Defence announced on Thursday.

Armed forces maintain readiness

Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, stated that the interceptions were carried out according to established procedures. He emphasised that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain in a state of constant readiness and are fully committed to their responsibilities.

Bomb disposal teams respond to debris

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior reported that its Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams responded to 11 incidents of debris falling from defensive interceptions linked to Iranian attacks in the past 24 hours.

Ongoing reports of attacks

Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib, Ministry spokesperson, noted that the total number of reports received since the start of the attacks has reached 640, highlighting the continued vigilance and response efforts of Kuwait’s security forces.
