He noted that the UAE was keen to deepen investment links with Uzbekistan and support further growth in bilateral trade and economic activity. More than 2,300 Uzbek companies are currently operating in the UAE, he said.
The minister said the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to identify new opportunities in both markets and turn them into concrete partnerships.
He added that stronger links between business communities in the UAE and Uzbekistan would help increase investment flows and create new joint projects.
Tourism between the two countries has also continued to grow. Uzbek visitor numbers to the UAE rose from 57,575 in 2024 to 71,969 in 2025, an increase of nearly 25 per cent.
The Emirati side briefed the delegation on recent economic reforms aimed at improving the business environment, attracting new economy companies and strengthening the UAE’s position as a regional hub for investment.
The officials also highlighted recent measures designed to boost liquidity, reduce business costs, and ease customs procedures. The steps aim to bolster private sector activity and sustain steady economic growth.
Investopia Tashkent, organised in partnership with the Tashkent International Investment Forum, was also a topic of discussion between the two sides.
The platform is expected to focus on new economic opportunities across the UAE, Uzbekistan, and wider Asian markets and encourage closer cooperation between investors and business communities in both countries.
