Sharjah CP: Unifying armed forces integrates UAE’s security

Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, stated, on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the anniversary of the Armed Forces Unification, that the decision served as fundamental cornerstone in the journey of building the nation and consolidating the Union’s foundations, as the unification of the Armed Forces enhanced, and will always do, the nation’s defense capabilities and the integrating its security system, aligning with the aspirations of the wise leadership towards a more stable and prosperous future.

His Highness added This achievement has, over the span of half a century, established a pioneering model in joint institutional work, and has reinforced the concepts of unity and national cohesion, which were and still are the basis of the strength of the United Arab Emirates and its comprehensive renaissance.” His Highness continued: “In celebration of the Golden Jubilee, we commend the courage of our forces in defending the nation and its achievements. Their high readiness and advanced efficiency reflect the professionalism and training they have reached, owing to the leadership's great support and its non-stop commitment to developing their capabilities.

“We value the critical role played by the armed forces in maintaining security, both nationally and in humanitarian efforts regionally and internationally. They remain a symbol of pride and honor, and a strong shield protecting the nation, and they shall continue serving as an unyielding shield and a firm support, owing to the sacrifices and dedicated efforts of its sons in honor, and their deep belief in defending the homeland, hoisting its flag high among other nations, especially in the military domain,” His Highness said.
