Sultan AlQasimi: Unifying the army is a bright national milestone

Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, stated in a speech on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the Armed Forces Unification that the UAE Armed Forces, embodying the values of loyalty and belonging, have exemplified the most magnificent acts of bravery and sacrifice. The courageous sons stand as an unyielding shield, defending their land, skies, and seas, safeguarding their resources, and laying down their lives in its defence. Our loyal soldiers have demonstrated, in various fields, their high readiness and distinguished competence, embodying the highest ideals of bravery and commitment in fulfilling their national duty.

His Highness affirmed that the 50th anniversary is a bright national milestone, embodying the vision of the founding leaders, reinforcing the principles of the Union and strengthening its unity and cohesion. His Highness stressed that this historic decision, which marks its golden jubilee, constituted a fundamental milestone in the journey of building, developing and sustaining the state, and contributed to our country reaching the security, stability and prosperity it currently enjoys.

His Highness praised the role played by our armed forces, in both humanitarian and relief efforts, as well as in defending the homeland. His Highness highlighted the advanced level they have reached in organization, training and equipment, showing pride in their possession of the latest advanced defence systems that contribute to protecting the lives of everyone who lives on the UAE’s soil, in addition to their high readiness and efficiency, and their firm ability to defend the homeland. May God protect the UAE, its leadership and people, and may God grant victory to our brave soldiers.
