Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club honoured players from its individual sports teams — cycling, karate and athletics — in recognition of the distinguished performances they delivered during the current sporting season, which they crowned with a number of medals and notable achievements reflecting the development of these sports within the club.

The ceremony was attended by Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, Abdullah Al Watri, Chairman of the Individual Sports and Talented Athletes Committee, and Hassan Subaian Al Tunaiji, Supervisor of Individual Sports, alongside team coaches and a number of players’ parents.

Commitment and determination behind achievements

Attendees praised the impressive performances delivered by the players during their various participations, stressing that these achievements were the result of the players’ commitment, discipline and determination, in addition to the major efforts exerted by the technical and administrative staff in developing talent and refining their abilities.

For its part, the club’s board of directors affirmed its commitment to supporting individual sports and providing a suitable environment for players to achieve further success in the future, noting that the honouring comes within the club’s strategy to motivate athletes, encourage them to continue excelling, and raise the club’s name across different competitions.

Rewards distributed in celebratory atmosphere

At the conclusion of the ceremony, rewards were distributed to the distinguished players amid a celebratory atmosphere reflecting pride in the achievements attained, alongside renewed emphasis on continuing the work to secure more titles and accomplishments in the coming seasons.
