Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced a temporary traffic diversion on Al Khan Road as part of development, expansion and bridge construction works aimed at enhancing traffic flow and upgrading the Emirate’s infrastructure.

The traffic diversion will come into effect from Friday, 22 May 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes outlined in the plan. The authority has called on road users to adhere to the approved traffic diversions, use alternative routes, and follow road safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow.
