Sharjah Club holds conference for Asian Handball Championship

The conference will feature the signing ceremony for the sponsorship contract supporting the team during the Asian Championship.

The draw ceremony for the Asian Championship, which qualifies for the Club World Cup, took place last Saturday in Kuwait. Sharjah Club, the title holder, was placed at the top of the first group, which includes Burgan of Kuwait, CHA of China, and Al-Duhail of Qatar. The second group consists of Kuwait Club of Kuwait (the tournament host), Al-Najma of Bahrain, Al-Khaleej of Saudi Arabia, and Al-Arabi of Qatar.

Sharjah is partaking in the tournament as the 2024 champion. As a result, the team has been nominated to represent the Asian continent at the World Handball Championship, “Super Globe 2025,” in Egypt, where they finished sixth in the world rankings.
