Kane leads Bayern Munich to German Cup glory against Stuttgart

England international striker Harry Kane led Bayern Munich to reclaim the German Cup title for the first time since 2020 by scoring a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over defending champions Stuttgart in the final.

Bayern confirmed their complete dominance of German football by securing the domestic double after already clinching the league title for the 13th time in the past 14 seasons.

Kane took his tally to 61 goals in all competitions this season, continuing one of the finest goalscoring campaigns of his career less than 20 days before the start of the World Cup.

With this triumph, the Bavarian giants ended a cup drought stretching back to 2020 — their longest in the current century — and increased their record haul in the competition to 21 titles, 14 more than nearest challengers Werder Bremen.
