Bruno Fernandes named Premier League Player of the Season

He earned the award after playing a key role in United’s resurgence and securing their place in the UEFA Champions League. He equalled the Premier League single-season record for assists (20), putting him alongside Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.

The 31-year-old also scored eight goals, helping ensure United, under Michael Carrick, finished the league in third place.

Fernandes becomes the first Manchester United player to win the award since Nemanja Vidić in the 2010–2011 season.
