Jalen Branson led all scorers with 30 points. British forward O. G. Anunoby added 21 points, while Mikal Bridges contributed 22 points, shooting 11 from 15 from the field, putting the Cavaliers on the brink of elimination.

Branson said: “I am speechless. I think we fought, and that is the most important thing.”

3-0 series lead puts Knicks in control

The Knicks now lead 3-0 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals and can clinch the series in Game 4 on Monday in Cleveland.

No team in NBA history has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit to win a playoff series.

Anunoby said: “The series is not over. We just need to keep the pressure on them and try to win the game.”

Branson stressed the need to stay focused, saying: “We are just focusing on one possession at a time.”

He added: “With the mentality we have had over the past few weeks, we need to continue it and even improve it.”

The Knicks last reached the NBA Finals 27 years ago, where they lost to the San Antonio Spurs, and have not won a championship since 1973.
