Dibba Al Hisn Municipality ready for Eid with expanded services

The municipality has finalised preparations for the municipal abattoir, increasing its capacity to receive sacrificial animals in accordance with the highest health and veterinary standards, while providing full supervision by veterinarians and specialists to ensure the safety of slaughtering operations throughout the Eid holidays.

Municipality teams have also intensified their field efforts by carrying out extensive inspection campaigns across markets, food and health establishments, barber shops and beauty salons to ensure full compliance with approved health regulations, in addition to monitoring the readiness of beaches and public parks to receive visitors during the Eid holiday.

Regarding working hours, the municipal abattoir will receive customers on Arafat Day and throughout the Eid holidays from 6am until 6pm, while the fruit and vegetable markets, meat and poultry markets, and fish market will continue operating daily until 11pm to meet the needs of residents and shoppers.

In the same context, the municipality warned against dealing with unlicensed butchers, stressing the importance of slaughtering sacrifices at the approved abattoir to ensure animals undergo the necessary health inspections and are confirmed safe for consumption.

Cleaning and sterilisation teams are also continuing intensive operations around the clock within the abattoir, markets and public facilities as part of an ongoing plan to maintain a healthy and safe environment during the Eid holidays.

Meanwhile, the municipality has completed preparations for the Eid prayer ground and provided all necessary technical and engineering services to receive worshippers, helping to create a comfortable and organised atmosphere for Eid Al Adha prayers.

The streets and squares of Dibba Al Hisn have also taken on a festive appearance following the completion of decoration and lighting works, with intersections and main roads adorned with illuminated displays and congratulatory messages reflecting the joy of Eid and spreading happiness among residents and visitors.

His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, affirmed that: “The municipality’s departments have mobilised all their capabilities and completed their operational and service plans for Eid Al Adha, ensuring the provision of integrated services and a safe and comfortable environment for residents and visitors alike,” noting that work teams continue their efforts around the clock to maintain service quality and enhance health and safety standards throughout the Eid holidays.
