Sharjah 24: The bow and arrow team (youth under 20 years) in the Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club achieved advanced positions at the country’s clubs level in the Emirates Cup for Bow and Arrow competition (first stage), which was hosted by Emirates Bow and Arrow Federation in Al Hamriyah Cultural Sports Club with the participation of 8 clubs nationwide.
Jumah Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club Board of Directors, expressed his happiness at hosting and the success of this championship held in light of the spread of the Corona pandemic, within the highest precautionary measures for the safety of everyone and the continuity of sports.
He commended the efforts of the Emirates Bow and Arrow Federation for organising such championships and its keenness to continue to enhance players’ physical activities, guarantee their training is not hindered or interrupted, and polish their skills for longer periods.
For his part, Hamid bin Ghadir, member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, said the club has overcome all obstacles that might have precluded the success of the competition, adding that all precautionary and preventive measures had been taken into considerable account throughout the competition.
