Sharjah24: Sharjah Taxi has successfully launched a smart taxi equipped with sensors and artificial intelligence to improve the level of service the entire provides.
Khalid Mohammed Al Kindi, Executive Director of Sharjah Taxi, confirmed that the smart taxi is the first of its kind in the Middle East regarding its specifications and artificial intelligence. The smart cab is equipped with sensors, cameras, and a mobile data unit that comply with security and safety standards, aiming to monitor the driver's behavior and the vehicle's technical condition to ensure the best services to the customers.
He added exclusively to "Sharjah 24" that the equipped gadgets and technologies measure the driver's physical condition level. Therefore, he is immediately directed with orders accordingly. If the customer forgets his belongings in the vehicle, such as mobile phones, the car sends an alert to the control center to notify them.
Al Kindi referred to the objectives of Sharjah Taxi by providing a smart cab that will contribute to reducing the wasted kilometres, reducing environmental pollution, reducing accidents, and raising the services' quality.
