Sharjah24: Al Ramadan Blitz Chess Competition was concluded as part of the activities of the 4th Al Dhaid Club Ramadan Forum, which is being held in cooperation with the Sharjah Chess Club, on Monday evening, in the outdoor stadiums of Al Dhaid Club.
The closing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, in the presence of several dignitaries.
The Championship included the participation of 160 male and female players from 30 countries from all over the world, and came as part of a series of activities and events that aim to spread the sport of chess in the smiling regions and cities of the Emirate.
Concluding the event, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howiden, His Excellency Humaid Abdullah Al Khatri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and His Excellency Salem Ali Al Rafisa, Member of the Board of Directors of the Club, honoured the winners.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club praised the Ramadan Blitz Chess Competition with its distinguished international participation, lauding the cooperation with the Sharjah Chess Club.
