Sharjah Crown Prince said, in the "Nation Shield" magazine, that on the occasion of the 47th Armed Forces Unification Day celebrated on the sixth of May, a major event is commemorated and reminds the nation of such an important turning point in the history of the UAE. That day is a basic pillar upon which the Union was built and a new phase has begun, with the help of the sons and daughters of the UAE who built and laid the foundations of the young country, and were able to turn the UAE into a unique development model with great achievements that won the world’s appreciation and respect in different fields.
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi stated that the greatest credit after God Almighty belongs to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, the Founder of the United Arab Emirates and his brothers, the founding leaders, who loved their people and were keen to support everything that would support the Union and strengthen its pillars.
Sharjah Crown Prince added that the valiant armed forces’ contributions of the valiant armed forces to different fields reflect the inherent values upon which the UAE was founded, and the morals of its proud people. The armed forces continue to support the victory of truth and help brothers and oppressed all over the world, becoming a symbol of heroism, courage and sacrifice, whereas they help every person in need, as an adjunct to the great humanitarian role that armed forces have played in many disaster-stricken areas around the world.
Sharjah Crown Prince extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and the Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, "may God protect him", Vice Presidents, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and all officers, and soldiers of the armed forces, on the occasion of the 47th Armed Forces Unification Day, praying to God to preserve the country, the people, and the armed forces, and perpetuate the blessing of our security, interdependence, progress, and prosperity.
