Sharjah24: Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Jarwan, the Head of the Initiatives and Events Team at the Representative Office of the Ministry of Health and Prevention in Sharjah, has confirmed the launch of the 13th edition of the Heat Stress and Disease Prevention Campaign. This campaign specifically aims to target workers at construction sites, in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
Al Jarwan stated that the Ministry, in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, aims to raise awareness and promote preventive measures against heat-related illnesses. A campaign was launched in various areas of Sharjah, starting in Al Hamriyah and moving through Al Dhaid, Kalba, Khorfakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn, before concluding in Sharjah city.

According to Al Jarwan’s exclusive statement to "Sharjah24, the campaign targets workers at construction sites, with providing them with awareness workshops and first aid training. The campaign also distributed food supplies to the targeted group and organised competitions and prizes for them.

Al Jarwan emphasised the objective of this campaign is to improve the health and cultural awareness of the targeted group, empowering them to effectively handle heat stress or direct sun exposure.
