Sharjah24: As part of its commitment to fostering scientific culture and nurturing curiosity among youth, Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club organised an engaging educational visit to the Sharjah Science Museum on Sunday morning. The activity marked the beginning of the new week within the “Sharjah Summer Sports – Our Holiday is Unique” programme, which is held under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.

The visit aimed to strengthen scientific understanding among young participants through an interactive learning experience across the museum’s various sections. Attendees explored a wide range of scientific topics, including the laws of nature, aerodynamics, human physiology, and thermal physics. They also engaged in live experiments that demonstrated physical phenomena such as electric charges, pressure, light, and sound.

A blend of education, space exploration, and entertainment

Participants enjoyed exciting space-themed shows and interactive experiences in a modern educational environment that blended learning with entertainment. This approach enabled them to grasp theoretical principles in a practical and engaging way, fostering inquisitive thinking and inspiring them to explore the world of science.

The day concluded with a recreational visit to Al Zahia Mall, providing a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to balance the educational experience. This reflects the summer programme’s philosophy of combining fun with meaningful learning in a stimulating environment.

A vision for balanced and future-focused youth development

Khalifa Mubarak Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Development Committee at Al Dhaid Club, stated that the trip aligns with the club’s vision of offering well-rounded summer programmes that enrich knowledge and broaden horizons. He highlighted the participants’ enthusiasm as evidence of the importance of such experiences in shaping a generation that is aware, creative, and passionate about science.

Al Ketbi reaffirmed the club’s ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive learning environments during the summer break, in line with Sharjah Sports Council initiatives aimed at preparing future-ready generations. He also noted that the club will continue to organise similar purposeful visits and activities throughout the summer, which runs until the end of July.
