Founded in 2022 by Brooke Bellamy, Brooki Bakehouse has expanded from a 41-square-metre bakery in Brisbane into one of Australia’s most recognised dessert brands. Known for its signature cookies, celebration cakes, and instantly identifiable pink branding, the company has accumulated over 4 million followers worldwide, with queues often stretching around the block.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, stated that the investment demonstrates Arada’s dedication to growing lifestyle-focused experiences centred on culture, design, and culinary excellence.
Our investment will enable Brooki to expand into new markets, especially in regions where Arada operates, including the UAE and the UK, while reinforcing its presence in Australia.
Founder Brooke Bellamy described the partnership as a major milestone for the brand’s global goals. “We built Brooki from scratch — no shortcuts, no compromises — and now, with Arada, we have the platform and resources to share our creativity, quality, and community with the world.”
Arada was chosen amid considerable interest from global investors, with both parties aligned in their vision for design-led, lifestyle-focused experiences.
Starting in Brisbane, Brooki has expanded to five locations across Australia, with a new store opening at Sydney Airport this month. The brand made its international debut less than a year ago at a food festival in Abu Dhabi, where fans queued for over two hours for its fresh cookies — a clear sign of its global appeal.
Arada’s hospitality division will launch Brooki Bakehouse pop-ups across the UAE from late November, including in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain. This will be followed by the opening of two flagship stores in early 2026.
The investment supports Arada’s continued growth into new markets and sectors. After entering the Australian residential market in 2024, the developer announced its expansion into the UK in September 2025.
Arada continues to expand its F&B portfolio, which includes franchise partnerships with Boost Juice, the acquisition of Sydney-based The Reformatory Lab, and a AED100 million joint venture with Tashas Group to grow restaurant concepts across the GCC.
By combining outstanding culinary and retail experiences within its developments, Arada promotes its mission to create lively, community-oriented destinations that enhance people’s everyday lives.
