Al Ain took the lead in the 20th minute with a goal from Al-Hussain Rahimi, who doubled the advantage just five minutes later. Sharjah’s Igor Coronado scored in the 88th minute to reduce the deficit, but Al Ain sealed the 3-1 win with a late strike from Matheus Palacios in the 100th minute.
