The championships featured both team and individual events across three age categories: children, juniors, and youth. Riders qualified through three tournaments held in FEI Regional Group VII countries to reach this stage of the competition.
The junior team included Mabkhout Al Karbi, Saleh Al Karbi, Mohammed Al Ghurair, and Mohammed Al Awani, while the youth team consisted of Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Abdullah Al Karbi, Saif Al Karbi, and Issa Al Owais. Both teams were coached by Hamad Ali Al Karbi.
His Excellency Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai, Board Member of the UAE Equestrian Federation and Chairman of Regional Group VII of the FEI, highlighted that the UAE’s achievement reflects the wise leadership’s support and care. He noted that winning gold coincides with the UAE’s 54th National Day and demonstrates the nation’s strong foundation of promising talent at international events.
Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai also commended Qatar’s organisational efforts and emphasized the Regional Group’s commitment to developing riders’ capabilities. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Shurafa, Board Member of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, praised the riders’ performance and noted that their success strengthens the UAE’s global standing in equestrian sports, reflecting the federation’s development programs and ambitions in show jumping.
