Through engaging workshops, physical activities, and a variety of outdoor outings, the camp supports the Club’s wider aim of empowering families and the community.
Alaa Al Shannasi, Director of Business Management at Sharjah Ladies Club, noted that seasonal camps provide comprehensive and enjoyable learning experiences. She explained that the programme aims to encourage creativity, movement, and teamwork within a well-supervised, high-quality environment. She also mentioned that the wide range of activities across all eight branches highlights the Club’s commitment to serving families throughout Sharjah.
The Winter Camp begins on 7 December and runs for three weeks, providing educational sessions, recreational activities, art workshops, and interactive experiences. The programme is suitable for children from the age of two, boys up to eight, and girls up to 16.
At the main branch, members will enjoy a comprehensive schedule combining movement arts, creative activities such as drawing and colouring, outdoor events, and swimming training.
Al Bateah branch offers a variety of workshops, cooking activities, movement challenges, and recreational sessions, including exploratory trips and winter gift-making.
Al Dhaid branch offers a sports and recreation programme including jumping activities, swimming, movement circuits, and water competitions.
At Al Hamriyah branch, children can participate in engaging workshops such as magic lamps, pottery, coloured sand art, and winter-themed crafts.
Al Madam branch offers a comprehensive programme of workshops, artistic activities, and competitions, organised in partnership with other institutions to maximise the educational benefits of the camp.
Dibba Al Hisn branch continues the Club’s winter programme with chocolate and cake-making workshops, handicrafts, fabric painting, puppet theatre, sports activities, and water games. In Kalba, the Talent Creativity Centre and Fitness Centre offer recycling workshops, confectionery making, drawing, soap carving, Winter Games Day, swimming competitions, and fitness sessions. Khorfakkan branch provides children’s yoga, competitive sports, fitness classes, and other recreational activities, while Wadi Al Helo branch features creative workshops, handicrafts, movement competitions, and winter-themed educational activities.
All Club branches maintain rigorous safety, security, and supervision standards, backed by qualified teams to oversee activities and guarantee a safe, enjoyable, and comfortable experience for participants throughout the camp.
